I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—Earthlog, My Not So Normal Sixth Grade Year, the first book in my middle-grade sci-fi series, is officially releasing on June 26, 2025!

This debut novel combines humor, heart, and a touch of interstellar adventure, written for anyone navigating the ups and downs of growing up and finding their place in the world.

What’s Earthlog About?

Earthlog, My Not So Normal Sixth Grade Year follows Jayden, a sixth grader who’s just trying to survive middle school like the rest of us. But when aliens make peaceful contact with Earth, his life gets a whole lot more complicated—and a lot more exciting!

As the world adjusts to new interstellar neighbors, Jayden and his friends navigate hilarious and heartfelt middle school challenges, discovering what it means to be brave, curious, and connected across differences.

This book is filled with:

    • Humor: Laugh-out-loud moments that middle-grade readers will love.
    • Relatable Characters: Jayden and his friends feel real, with challenges, quirks, and triumphs you’ll recognize.
    • Big Themes: Friendship, belonging, and embracing change.

Why I Wrote This Book

As a librarian and educator, I’ve always believed in the power of stories to open doors to new perspectives. Earthlog came from my desire to create a fun, relatable sci-fi adventure series for young readers—one that explores big ideas like empathy, courage, and what it means to welcome the unknown.

Writing this book has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait to share Jayden’s world with you.
